Chak de India!!!!!!

Chak de
Chak de
Chak de India.

Really a fantabulous win for India. World cup win is always going to be special. The energy, the enthusiasm, the passion, the expression, the agility which were missing in the Dravid's captaincy, is back again. The series started with lightening and ended with storm. Each game of india was dramatically close and electrifying. India deserves to be the winner of this inaugural T20 World championship.

It was raining like anything for last 2 days in Kolkata. We have not been able to take food in our flat because Maid was not able to come in windy rain. Head count in IBM was abysmal. Between 4 PM t0 5PM, most of the IBMers headed to their home to watch the match. We got a projector in sustain area to watch the encounter live.
But I couldn't resist myself from going home(room) to relish the match. I buy some snacks and joined with my roomates. Till then Yusuf Pathan already hit a six. I tried different variation (totkas) but in vain. Yuvarj got out cheaply. Just before 3rd last over I changed the black wallpaper of my mobile to Walkman' wallpaper. From there on match was ON. India compiled 30 runs in last 3 overs.

As I predicted during the match, Jogendra Sharma played a crucial role in India's world Cup win. Match was full of drama. Just before Malik departure, our cable got disconnected due to bad weather. We started listening the match live commentary on Prakash radio. We got the news that Malik is out. Just then, Dwiti who was on mobile talking to his sister, informed us that pakistan lost 6th wicket. We thought that they wrongly thinking of 5th as 6th. But when radio confirmed this, we got ecstatic. After 15 minute signal started coming.

In the last over of the match, 2nd ball, we thought that Misbah mis-hit the ball, but that was not to be as the ball sailed over long of for six. Next ball, we thought that it is going to be four, but again for our (this time) pleasant surprise, ball went down the throat of Sreesanth. We all went berserk. Inida...India......Indiaaaaaaaaaaaa. We yelled at top of our voice. For next few minute, the drama continued.

We ordered cake, rosogulla and other stuffs and enjoyed the night while watching reaction of the public.

Clever decision

.

Now this is really a very clever decision from Dravid to step down just before mighty AUSSIE tour.
He knows that Aussie tour is going to be very tough and India might get trashed, so better leave the burden on high (after successful english tour) than a highly low. He also wants to be known as successful captain. Successor of Dravid, if get trashed by Aussie or Pakistan, will come into eyes of storm and then Dravid will be touted as best captain. This is what he wants....clever very clever....
I want to make Dhoni, the 'bali ka bakra'.....

This is going to be the beginning of a new era in indian cricket.

cheers.

Life after 20-20

.

Life span of any cricketer in international cricket arena after 20-20 will be very sort. Playing even for 5 yrs will be a huge challenge. Tournament of 20-20 and bilateral series of ODIs will be common.

Will this increase the interest of cricket fan or will this be fatal for cricket in long term?? I think, after a short peak, cricket will take a deep plunge.

Indian team finds his right place

.
I was really wondering how India leveled the series in 6 th ODI against a near perfect and balanced England team. In fact if we carefully analyze the series, we find that England was trying hard to level the series till 6th ODI. They willingly left out Mascrahans and Flintoff in ties where they lost the match to let India level the series. The contrast in play is much more clear when we see the 1st and last compared to other matches.

.
There is no match winner in the team except Yuvraj. Dhoni is now liability on the team.

hey Pathan, Yuvi, Kaif....India ko kam se kam 20-20 ke next round me jaroor pahunchana.

Buddha sthiya gaya hai*(^&^%$

.
.
I don't know why Amitabh is doing such a series of faltu, bekar and anti-social films. Why does he want his image changed?? Does he want to play the role of every character that exist on this earth (mainly lecherous type) ?? Nishabd, Boom, Aankhen, Black, Chini kam now Gabbar upps... Babban....... Now he started saying a minor girl 'sexy' and other things, and people are happy with this.

if he really wants to put or prove a point to the society, he should have acted with Aishwarya in Nishabd and Chini Kum. That could have made this a little tasty. he should call his daughter sexy in public, to make a point. huh....... On that, neither media nor the people are making any statement against him. because he is a superstar ...... superstar, my foot. He should be a shame-star. He came into limelight only because of KBC not because of any hit film. He is no way near Amir, Shahrukh and Hritik. Even Sanjay Dutt gives us a film to watch for and take something out of them.

Ab paisa to bahut kama liye yaar, marne se pahle kuch to achchi film dikha do.... nahi to marne ke baad, tumhe superstar kahne ke liye 2-bar sochenge..

See the contradiction of his real life and reel life.Neither he let his wife nor his daughter to enter ito the bollywood. Now he is restricting his daughter-in-law from doing any bold scene. He even didn't invited Hritik Roshan on Aish's weeding because Hritik did a hot kissing scene with her. But in reel life, he is showing the diagonally opposite things.

isiliye, hum kahte hain, budhdha shathiya gaya hai. Either he should stop shooting or media should start shooting.

Match fixing

.
.
Are the matches of bilateral series fixed? I have not seen any bilateral series among top teams mainly India ended in clean sweep. Last 2 matches used to be the series decider. Do they play the matches in such a fashion that series is kept alive and spectators interested? If that is the case then nice business strategy...

India need 11 Bowlers :) and 11 batsman

.
"Needed at least 11 bowlers in indian team", says Dravid. "We were 20-30 run short." ohooooooo ekdum pakau statement hai......

Are thoda bharosa dikhao Pathan pe ..... Apne ko bhi thoda rest do, Dravid. Yaar, koi ise goli maar do, ya phir haath-pair thod do.... thoda rest mil jayega...... itna pakau captaincy aajtak kisi ne nahi kiya hoga ..

Dhoni

Regarding Dhoni, I don't know who got this weird idea of making him Captain. How can a person, who managed 2 ducks (0 run) in world cup and showed India the exit door, be made Captain? How will he motivate his team, will be good to watch. Neither he ever lead a team in domestic cricket nor he looks like a motivator. Wicketkeeper captain is rarity in world cricket. His wicket keeping prowess is also under scrutiny. He is yet to face the Down Under music. His inability to handle the swinging and fast ball, is exposed in 1 ODI vs England. But we can not ignore his heroics on flat pitches where Kumble can hit century[:)]. If we think performance and motivation is criteria for captain, then Yuvraj is far ahead of him. Since he was in Dravid's camp and Yuvraj in Ganguly's, he was favored for captain shoe.

After Ganguly era, BCCI don't want to take a chance with aggressive captain, because this can backfire. They want meek, silent person who can obey their orders and do not ask question. Whether India loose or win, they are going to win.

But as a spectator, we can find the energy and intensity of each player on the field has reduced dramatically in Dravid's captaincy. Everybody used to be on their toes in Ganguly time. Extracting best out of everybody was Ganguly's trademark. Dravid is a Rambharose captain. same is going to be the case with Dhoni, unless he got some flat tracks.

Number 3 needed

Irfan Pathan is the perfect foil for Number 3 position. He is the best left-handed batsman in India with Yuvraj . With solid defensive technique and big hitting ability, he is best suited for this position. He can bowl as well and a very good fielder. He is a proven match winner. People are crying foul over his bowling being destroyed by his batting. He is a victim of Dravid's captaincy. If Ganguly were the captain, situation would have been totally different.

1 ODI

Yuvraj, Piyush will be India's main weapon while Flintoff will be England's.

Since this is the 1st ODI, chances are 50-50 for both the teams.

20-20

Hello Cricket Lovers.

This is time for a change. 20-20 entered into the arena with much hype and madness. World cricket is feeling the heat created by 20-20, mainly ICL. A lot of discarded and old players is going to make a huge amount of money. This is also going to affect the salary of domestic players. We have to wait and watch, how far this ICL and 20-20 can go.

Let me tell you that ICL is not going to help to improve cricket infrastructure in India or abroad. This is only beneficial for Ranji or international players. ICL is acting like Parasite. Indian mentality is such that we do not watch a cricket match unless Team India is playing a international match with their stars. We even leave match in middle, when our star get out, then how this effort of ICL is going to retain the Indian public, that has to be seen.

This stir was very much needed to provide India, a new star. Stars always emerge in time of crisis. We are wondering for a long time, who will fill up the shoes of the likes of once a great now stale and stinky Sachin and Rahul and Kumble, time has come.

Regards
