Number 3 needed

Irfan Pathan is the perfect foil for Number 3 position. He is the best left-handed batsman in India with Yuvraj . With solid defensive technique and big hitting ability, he is best suited for this position. He can bowl as well and a very good fielder. He is a proven match winner. People are crying foul over his bowling being destroyed by his batting. He is a victim of Dravid's captaincy. If Ganguly were the captain, situation would have been totally different.

yes u r write.but i think it would be too much for irfan to handle.what happens is if any other batsmen comes at 3,ppl wont comment even if he fails in 4 r 6 games.but when irfan was entrusted with d same job ppl talked against him even when he scored 50+.and he also recieved too harsh comments when he didnt do well at 3.they made him feel low .he just sacrificed for the team..but what did the team gave him back? nothing.dravid used him and threw him like anything.sooo i want irfan to bat at lower order.he has always been a saver.when everybody fails...he stands up for the team.that's y he is a gret batsmen.man with best technique.
thanks.bye.

U r right in saying that Pathan needs support of his captain like Yuvraj got. But, for a Bagladeshi bitten and dabbu captain, its too much for asking. Surely, Pathan needs backing. What i like most about Pathan is his attitude, his fearless approach and his energy on the field. The way he hits Murli out of ground or any other bowler for that sake is treat to watch. We need some batsman of such attitude and caliber at top of the order.

He is a class player of fast bowling, thats why I think he should be a regular at number 3. For beating Australia and other such team, we need his attitude badly.

Thanks, bye
